Luminous Acres Equestrian provides safe riding instruction and positive interaction with horses while setting excellent standards of care. We specialize in introducing riders to the equine world as well as fine-tuning seasoned riders in their discipline of choice.

Our program is hands on and a fully involved learning experience in all aspects of horse care and riding. We demonstrate and preach our love for the horse and pride ourselves on creating a sanctuary for kids where they can be themselves while safely learning with their peers.

Lessons include grooming and tacking until riders are independent enough to get ready on their own with supervision only. After care of the horse is a requirement of our program as well as a pre-selected barn chore.

Teaching equestrian's accountability and respect for the horse from a young age is paramount in fostering horse people that can properly exist in the horse world for decades to come. The education that your young equestrian will receive out of the saddle and in the barn is just as important as what they will learn in the arena.
